Horsethief Pub will be hosting ICAN on Sunday Dec 11, 2016 as their chosen charity for their Give Back Sunday event. This means, they will be donating 15% of their total food sales (before tax) on Dec 11th to ICAN…how amazing is that?

This year’s BBQ event started with a 2 hour Volunteer appreciation lunch and a chance for our existing volunteers to meet up and visit.
At 2 PM the doors were thrown wide open to visitors who wanted to learn more about ICAN and to those interested in volunteering.
We are just delighted at the turn out. Lots of happy faces stopping by to visit, grab a hot dog, dessert and wander through our cage free environment and meet our current resident cats and kittens. We are happy to advise that Coco found her new forever family and left with them today.
ICAN sends out a huge Thank You to those of you who donated or filled out volunteer applications and we appreciate our wonderful community and the continuous and enthusiastic support we have received throughout the years.
WE CARE and we hope that was apparent to everyone who stopped by. We are proud of the clean, spacious, well-cared for and nurturing atmosphere we provide for our rescue animals. We are grateful to our dedicated foster families and volunteers.

Close to $12,000 was raised at the recent Raise the Woof!
On behalf of all the animals at ICAN, we want to say “Thank You” to the people and businesses that donated auction items and prizes. Also to you, our guests, who attended and bid on those items, and to the ICAN volunteers, their spouses and friends, that worked so hard to put on this event.
This was another great event, held at the Invermere Community Hall on Sept 26, 2015.
A big thank you to Fiona Baxter and crew who put on the 2nd Vendor Blender this year.
Thank you as well to everyone who came out to the Invermere Vendor Blender. Donations at the door amounted to over $850 for ICAN.
